My name is Hana Bytyqi, I was born on March 24, 2006, in Kansas City Missouri; my parents were born in Kosovo. Having parents who had grown up with few opportunities influenced them to push me to accept any opportunity offered to me and pursue it to the fullest. These hardworking and competitive values have been instilled within me since I was a child and sift into my personality as a young adult today. It is my mission that I display that I am driven, and passionate, and aspire to be a leading professional in the medical field. There are many moving pieces when patient care is involved: autonomy, the best interest of the patient, when to stop the care of a patient, and how to offer a patient a healing experience in the hospital. It would be my job as a physician to take all of these parts of a patient's care plan and balance them with facts, logic, and science. I believe that it is essential to make decisions regarding a life with both logic and compassion towards the patient. It is vital that you develop a relationship with not just those I surround myself with, but also those I am placed to work with. It is important that when building bonds with the people in my workplace I communicate my thoughts and important information in a concise and respectful manner. I do this every day by when I speak to my mentors at school, I am concise and to the point with my communication.
