The transcription analyzed in this paper is found in an American reality TV show, called ‘Hard core Pawn’. This show is about the daily activities in a American pawnshop. Mood system contains different types of clauses but only three types would be analyzed in this paper in special: declarative, interrogative and imperative clauses. Declarative clause refers to statement; interrogative refers to question and imperative refers to command. Different speakers will make different choices from the mood system. Also, the pawnshop manager uses the declarative clauses the most, but followed by imperative, and the interrogative is the least commonly used compared to choices of the customer from line 29 to line 46. After line 28, the customer starts angry and using more interrogative clauses to annoy the pawnshop manager such as “What about that one right there? ”, “Do they won't work?” in line 38 and “Do these f****** phone work?” in line 41. The pawnshop also feels offense after the personal attack from the customer and starts requesting the customer to leave by using more imperative clauses and calling a security called Joe such as “They start telling you: Give me your receipt or get the hell out of here” in line 37, “Take a picture of the parking lot” in line 42 and “Show, show him how the phone works outside” in line
