Martin Luther King Jr, Barack Obama, both amazing leaders, but whom do you think inspired them? The answer to that question is Harriet Tubam. The greatest leader of all time. Harriet Tubman has done many inspirational things throughout her lifetime. Like being a nurse, or a spy during the Civil War, but her greatest achievement has to be her time on the Underground Railroad. Tubman’s time as spy was bad because everywhere she’d go she would find horrible sights of people suffering, mostly slaves, and the awful pain people went through during the Civil War. Harriet Tubman was a spy during the Civil War, so that means there was plenty of crying, screaming, and agony that Tubman had to witness everyday she was a spy. Tubman’s time as a nurse might have been worse because she was always around so many people in pain, especially during the Civil War. It surely was a painful job to experience the damage done to the people during the civil war. Being a nurse during the Civil War would mean she’d have to see many people in pain from the war, and have to go through the pain of helping them. Even though it was a good thing for her to do as a person, she could never see all of the pain. For the rest of Harriet Tubman’s life, she was a caregiver for many. This couldn't have been her greatest achievement, for nothing that she did in her time as a caregiver was life changing for her and maybe others (Document E). Tubman did help people in the time she took care of others, she didn't really make a big impact on different peoples’ lives.
