“I freed a thousand slaves I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.” This quote from Harriet Tubman represents the attitude she has about life. Tubman’s live involved being a slave and being Moses of people. Tubman’s struggles began the day she born. Tubman had lifetime of achievments. The world grieved when Tubman, the hero, died. Tubman always put others before herself. Harriet Tubman, thought did not have a perfect life, was loved by many. Harriet Tubman was born in Dorchester County, where she was born as a Slave in Maryland on 1820, to Harriet Green which was her mother and Father Ben Ross. She was raised in Maryland East with her 8 siblings. They didn't know the date of birthday for slaves because it was unknown. Her parents were slaves as well. On March 10,1913 Harriet Tubman passed away.Harriet died of pneumonia. They had a postage stamp on her grave, and also had a Narcolepsy which is (a chronic sleeping disorder) had a lot of stuff put on her grave Buried with military honors,plaque on courthouse, after Harriet's death the nation Celebrated in many ways of her life. Schools were named after her in honor of life,Settled at New York. Were she would spend her long life. Tubman had a not so good life but there was many people that she was loved by. In her lifetime she was mostly a slave and was Moses of her people. But she had many struggles ever since she was born. Many achievements in life. So many were sad when Tubman died. She never put herself before others it was people before her. Next time you think of Tubman always remember she saved slaves so are world isn’t like that anymore. In some places in our world there are slaves but not many anymore we are free. Please feel lucky because in some places in the world there is slavery still going
