Rape is the worst way in which can lose his/her innocence. It not only affects the victim physically but mentally as well. Objectifying human beings and using them to take revenge feels devastating and frustrating for a person's existence. The question still lies, are humans the new toys ?

It may be unfair, but what happens in a few days, sometimes even in a single day, can change the course of lifetime. The day of the kite flying competition too was one such day. The guilt was so huge that he craved punishment. He wanted to face pain for not helping Hassan, so that he could at least sleep at night. Hassan was not able to understand Amir's sudden swings. After Amir's failed attempts to receive punishment, he did something that changed everything drastically. He not only blamed Ali and Hassan of robbery, he questioned their loyalty and respect towards Baba. That was the day, Amir too lost his innocence.
