Romeo and Juliet's families hate each other and have had a feud for many years. Without this ancient feud Romeo and Juliet would have been able to freely love each other without having to be secret. Romeo's death was influenced by the hate between the two families. The reader is able to inference this from the Montague's and the Capulet's ancient feud. "
Did the power of love or hate contribute more to Romeo's death? I believe that love is the greater factor in Romeo's death. Without love William Shakespear´s story of Romeo and Juliet would not have even happened. As soon as Romeo laid his eyes upon Juliet he was instantly in love and in that moment was when Romeo had already begun to prove his love for her. The text says, ¨My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand/To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss"( Shakespeare 1. 5.92,93).
Tragedy love Hatred is a dangerous force that causes people to make dangerous decisions. In Shakespeare’s play, The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, he tells the story as two teenage kids fall in love with two families who always argue. This ends up with both Romeo and Juliet killing themselves. They died because Tybalt, Juliet's kinsman, was argumentative and tribal throughout the essay. Tybalt is the reason for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because he is always to argue and his strong loyalty to his family.
To begin, Romeo is the main cause for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because he initiated the whole chain of love. The text states that Romeo said “Then move not while my prayer’s effect I take. Thus from my lips, by thine my sin is purged.” (Act I, scene 5, lines 106-107).
In the play "Romeo and Juliet'' by William Shakespeare many people know that Romeo and Juliet killed themselves, but do you know the cause of it? Was it love, or was it hate? Well the reason that Romeo and Juliet killed themselves was because of hate and not because of love. The first reason that Romeo and Juliet killed themselves was that the two families hated each other which caused people's acts to be unclean.
Did the forces of love contribute more to Romeo’s death? Or did the forces of hatred have a stronger influence? Or both? I think that love and hatred were both strong and apparent causes of Romeo’s fate. I believe that if he had never met Juliet, or if he and Juliet’s families had never fought, that he probably wouldn't have died at such a young age.
Juliet’s family wanted Juliet to marry Paris so she had to hide her love for Romeo; knowing her parents weren’t going to be supportive for her relationship with Romeo. If there was not a family feud Romeo and Juliet wouldn’t have to hide there love for each other. The family feud is one of the main reasoning behind the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Even though Romeo and Juliet committed suicide, their untimely deaths are ultimately caused by the fate and family
“Romeo and Juliet's love is threatened constantly by a society full of hate” I personally believe that society is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet. One of the many reasons society is to blame is” that society allows the kind of” family feuds, the fight between one of the Capulets and the Montagues that banished Romeo,” The family feud” between these families” has been going on even before Romeo and Juliet “were born”. There is no backstory “provided as” to why they were feuding, “but” family feuds are horrible because they cause many people “to” lose their lives trying to prove that they are better than the other family. Family feuding can bring dishonor to the family while belittling the distinct hatred.
Do you believe love may overpower hate, or could they both work together? In “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare, Romeo who is inflicted by both love and hate, has now seen the love of his life on her deathbed. This shatters Romeo’s heart and he starts to pour out all his emotions as he kisses Juliet, he then decides to drink poison so that he may join her wherever she may be. This shows that Romeo killed himself because he lost the person he cared for the most, he loved Juliet and refused to live without her. Romeo would have never thought of drinking the poison if he knew his love was still alive, all because of love he decided to end himself with his lover so they may forever be together physically and mentally.
Hate is an overwhelming emotion that is an integral portion of society; expressed greatly in media such as literature. This emotion is additionally vital in a play written by William Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet is a play set in Verona, Italy in which two people, infatuated with each other, venture to extreme lengths to complete their desires in opposition to the venom held between their families, conclusively leading to their demise. In William Shakespeare’s he writes a play telling a dramatic event of two lovers ‘’Romeo and Juliet’’ that have to keep their love a secret because of their family hatred for each other that will lead to a tragic event that will cause the two lovers to die. In William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” hate is shown to be stronger than love because Romeo kills Tybalt, Juliet dad was going to throw her in the streets and let her starve, die of hunger if she didn't marry Paris, and Romeo and Juliet die because of hate. One way hate is shown to be stronger than love in “Romeo and Juliet” is Romeo killed Tybalt. In Act 3 Scene 1 Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo because he hated him, but Romeo Tybalt. In Act 3 Scene 1 Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo
Romeo and Juliet have a lot of bad luck like when the Capulet’s killed a Montague, and when Romeo killed Tybalt. It’s the long-standing family feuding that also kills Romeo and Juliet. For example, when Tybalt kills Mercutio Romeo is angry and kills Tybalt because he is filled with hatred. The reason that they even fight is because of a old dispute between the two families. This dispute is the cause of many fights between the two families. This long time dispute is caused by a mutual hate between the two families and is why hate is stronger than love in this story.
