Incorporation of Theory: Health Belief Model Health Belief Model Theory (HBM) best explains the success of the precautionary instructional programs as a method of reducing falls in the hospitals. With this theory, caregivers are provided with a prediction and possibility of the patient participating in a given health action. Patients who have been thought on the use of bed alarm can decide either to use the call light or not. This paper proposes that customized precautionary instructional programs will prohibit hospital falls. RATIONAL
The proposal therefore is one that requires the patients to take action. This practice is basically to adhere to the various precautionary methods that are provided for patients by their caregivers.
