2. I define self-esteem as how I feel about myself. Self esteem can affect a person 's life. Someone with a low self-esteem tends to be more bitter about their life, while someone with a higher self-esteem tend to have a brighter, more positive view on life in general. People with low self-esteem are usually more depressed and tend to only focus on the negative. Most of my friends seem to have healthier self-esteems, because most of them are happy a majority of the time. I would say I have a healthy self-esteem. I like to focus on all the positive things in my life. Despite being born with a disability, I tend to be very accepting of myself and the way I am. 4. Most people who took the survey have an average self-esteem. they don 't necessarily hold themselves in a very high regard, but they don 't feel bad about themselves either.
5. I do agree with a majority of statements about low self-esteem on the survey. The statement that was talking about the mean dad made a lot of sense to me, It 's hard to have a high self-esteem, when you have a member of your family constantly cutting you down.
6. In order to maintain my healthy self-esteem, I need to remember not to take what people say to heart. One activity that I have always enjoyed and that has always made me feel good is storytelling. Whenever I feel angry or upset or even when I 'm happy, I like to tell myself stories. they make me feel good and positive inside. Over the years, my love for storytelling has evolved into a love for creative writing. It is a way to escape reality. There is just something about my fantasy world that makes me feel like I can do anything. My fantasy world encourages me to do better in the real world. it inspires me. in order to maintain my self-esteem, I will keep telling myself stories and even share my stories
