They desperately wanted immediate help for me. however they did not know any blind or deaf people that could help me. One day my mother heard about Dr. Chisolm. Dr. Chisolm is a special eye doctor, who lived in Baltimore, Maryland. My parents were eager to meet this doctor and quickly took me to Baltimore. Dr. Chisolm sadly could not cure me, so he sent me and my family to Washington. In Washington there was a special, wise, wonderful, wealthy man. This man was, Alexander Graham Bell.
