Princess Diana, Dodi Fayed, Trevor Rees-Jones, and Henri Paul A fatal car collision on the Paris night of August 30 1997 killed Princess Diana, Dodi Fayed, and Henri Paul, the driver, who was recklessly driving under the influence. The group and Trevor Rees-Jones, who was the only survivor, had just left the Ritz Paris and were heading over to Dodi’s apartment when tragedy struck. The Mercedes S280 was shortly found in the Pont de I ‘Alma tunnel and worked on at sight. Some however believe that more than just Paul played into the “murder”. These other reasons are flawed and used by the media to promote sells. Although some people continue to believe that the royal family, solider n, and the Mercedes S280 were at fault, this conspiracy theory cannot be proven due to the use of propaganda found in the argument. …show more content…

Theorists tend to believe this because the “murder” was shortly after the split of her and Prince Charles in 1996. Princess Diana openly expressed her feelings in a note to her butler on “an accident” that she believed was being “plan[ed]” by her “husband” showing that she knew that something was up during this time in her life that had the potential to be “serious.” This allegation however, was quickly shut down by Lucia Flecha da Lima, one of Diana’s confidants. Lucia and Princess Diana communicated freely with each other and Lucia revealed that Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former butler, was “perfectly capable” of forging the “handwriting” of Diana, and she had no recollection of the princess ever “fearing for her life.” As the letter was presented to the Royal Courts of Justice in London Dodi’s father, Mohamed Al Fayed, began to claim that the couple was killed with a M16 with a shooter that was hired by Prince Phillip
