Weather reports are flashing: Stay inside! Stay inside! California has never experienced a storm like this before. The wind is blowing fifty-five miles per hour and the average snowfall per hour is 4 inches'. If the snow continues, we could become trapped indoors! I've never seen this much snowfall in all my life, I would advise for everywhere to stay indoors, and keep your fireplace on. ~ Farmer Lynn turned off the television and headed for her barn to warn her animals. It was complete chaos inside the barn, cows were mooing like crazy, and chickens were running around as if their heads were chopped off! Farmer Lynn ordered everyone to be quite. Henrietta hen waddled up to Farmer Lynn and whispered,
"Chickie Chick is lost!" Another loud outburst occurred, with everyone shouting and hollering, Farmer Lynn didn't notice Henrietta slip out the back door and into the storm to find her missing chick. Once outside, Henrietta Hen could barely walk! She might have gotten four or five steps before she was swept up into the wind! She went left as Mickey told her to. As Henrietta trenched through the deep snow, she heard rustling noises. The noises turned into deep growls, and Henrietta Hen started having a panic attack! She didn't know what direction that the strange growls were a coming from. All of a sudden, a pack of mangy mutts surrounded her. She was shocked, and didn't know how to react. She made a bold move, and scurries under their legs. She was feathers deep in snow, and trying to run away as fast as she could. She could feel the dogs nipping at her feet, and trying to eat her! Henrietta saw the alley that Mickey and Minnie told her about. She made a sharp turn into the alley, throwing the pack off a bit. As she ran down the alley, she noticed Chickie Chick wasn't there! She had no where to go, and the pack of dogs was still on her
