During Industrialization, many big changes occurred. One major point is that products and goods became cheaper to make, and in return, cheaper for sale. Shortly after factories starting popping up in the U.S., “the production of exports outpaced import of goods, and by the late 1800s America emerged as the world’s largest industrial power” (Doc 3). Before factories, things were made by hand and took time to make. Both inventions led to increased productivity and stimulated American economic development, Henry Ford patented the design and soon began to produce more cars than his competitors. Ford knew that in order to keep his employees satisfied he would have to raise their pay, so he did. From a measly two dollars to five he immediately noticed an increase work ethic , including the price reduction his workers could finally afford the new Model T and now had enough time to use it. This led to an increase in employees and wages, the automobile showed a renewed cultural outlook in America that would soon be spread to all neighboring countries. The invention of the airplane changed the United States forever, it changed the way that Americans would travel making it easy and affordable not to mention that it would help significantly improve the American economy through shipping and distribution.
Ford's desire to help the masses and his want for peace and prosperity to America are what framed the groundwork for the future world. He perfected the automobile field and created a stable workplace for many Americans. His perfection of the assembly line, and the legacy of Ford being an economically practical car are still what the Ford brand is known for today. Henry Ford's wish for his car to be all around the world at a reasonable price is a legacy he left behind and is still being accomplished to this
