Henry V is a play written by Shakespeare depicting how Henry V claimed his right to France and proceeded to overthrow the french king. Shakespeare often wrote plays like this in order to impress the king or queen who was currently ruling the nation. Shakespeare's plays also consisted of a stage that branches out into the audience like a runaway, which is unlike modern stages which lay parallel to the crowd. One of the greatest things about Henry V is how it shows the power of the long bow. With this new tool Henry V was able to defeat armies that outnumbered him, and was able to lay siege to France.
