For Netflix to shape it ecology of innovation took around 10 years of creation of new services, products ideas and business models for get to where they are now. They change the entire market of DVDs rentals and created a new structure of monthly subscription with more then 100,000 movies available to their customers. Nowadays Netflix have around 10 millions of subscriber and 30 millions of renters. Knowing that they open their company with 30 employees and around 1,000 titles, now they are the leader in the market of “on-demand internet streaming media”. What this created was the interaction between Netflix and their customers and with this created and stronger relationship in their ecosystem. Another move that Netflix did was the agreement with entertainment production films; this deal was based in exclusivity of some products like movies, shows and series. With this action Netflix it’s having a better relationship with the production companies. What they gained from is been able to have a balanced ecosystem were one will produce this the case of the production companies and the other will distributed the product been this Netflix. In 2002 Wal-Mart introduce itself into the DVD subscription market, something that case a big impact to Netflix in the stock market.
