The Hex Tattoo
Tyler Harding is a 17 year old, blue eyed boy living the high life as the star quarterback of the Ravens football team. Tyler lives in Florida with his adopted mom, dad, and brother Hayden. Tyler goes to Hollywood Hills High School in Hollywood, Florida. He lives a pretty normal life, but he has something unusual about him, he was born with a snake tattoo on his back that causes him pain everyday. His adopted mother realized the tattoo caused him pain when he was about two weeks old. His parents found out his tattoo heals people when he was four months old and his mom was robbed and shot, he healed her wound just by a touch with his tattoo. Although this power is unbelievable, his parents want Tyler to hide it.

Three men the “Jamaican Three” found out that Toby had a son in America, and they want to contact him so that Tyler can heal his mother. Apparently, the men think that Tyler’s tattoo has the same purpose as Toby’s did. They are absolutely right. Tyler is getting ready for school and sees a black car stop outside his house, so he goes to tell his mom and dad. His mom assures him that it is just someone that is lost and to continue getting ready because he has a field trip to the greenhouses. Tyler gets ready and leaves his house just in enough time to get to the school before the bus leaves. His dad pulls out behind him and then the black car afterwards. Tyler calls his dad and says, “Dad the black car is behind you” his dad replies “Son don’t worry about it, go before you're late.” When Tyler arrives at school his best friend, Cody, is waiting on him. Cody gets into Tyler’s Jeep and says “Dude why is that black car just sitting behind yours?” Tyler replies, “I don't know dude, it’s been following me. “Cody tells Tyler just to brush it off and enjoy this day. The flight is at least ten hours long and Tyler is exhausted and just praying that he can help the woman and get back home to his family. He listens to music and tries to pass the time as quickly as possible. Finally, Jamaica is right under them and they land in 15 minutes. The men tell Tyler that he’s back where he’s supposed to be and where he will save a life. Hearing him say this gives Tyler some comfort, but he is terrified that he won’t be able to help. Within minutes of landing, Tyler and the men are headed to the house of the poor sick women. After around 20 minutes, they approach the house, and Tyler is the first person to walk in. The first thing he sees is a old woman in a rocking chair who is complaining and begging him to heal her with the snake. Tyler says “Yes ma’am,” and he begins to remove his shirt and put his tattoo on her wrist. Immediately she falls asleep and awakes exactly five minutes later with no pain at all. The men start gasping and hugging Tyler. They hand him three hundred dollars and say “here’s for your plane ride home and some extra for this summer, we want you to come visit and
