Since the beginning of America, the minority of Hispanics have influenced the American culture and history. So now let’s go more in depth with the influences of these cultural people.
In 1980 there was about 11million Spanish speakers in 2012 there were over 38 million Spanish speakers. Hispanic parents will often teach their kids Spanish as a way of passing down heritage and culture. This is what keeps the Spanish language alive in the U.S.A. Also, Hispanic religion has impacted America in a big way. Hispanic Americans represent a high Christianity percentage in America.

Hispanic Americans will tend to have a large close knit family. It is common for three generations to be living in the same household or nearby. The grandparents will often play a role in taking care of their grandchildren. They will often teach their grandchildren how to be a well-being and good.
Hispanic’s has one of the biggest commercial broadcasting networks to local radio stations. The two largest broadcasting networks are Univision and Telemundo. These networks allow Hispanics to keep watch on their soccer which has grown a large influence on America. Hispanic’s also are a big part in music in America. In 1986 billboard magazine added a “hot Hispanic\Latin songs” chart. Right after that they made a new chart in 1993 called the top “Hispanic\Latin albums”. Many Hispanic musicians have mad international fame such as Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, and Selena Gomez.
More than half of the United States Hispanic population in is three states California, Texas, and Florida. California has the biggest population at 14 million Hispanic Americans. As of 2011 the United States senate includes Hispanic members like Bob Menendez a democrat, and republicans Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. Sonia Sotomayor is one of the justices of the Supreme Court. The reason why there are so many Hispanics in the presidential administrations is because in 1988 Ronald Regan appointed Lauro cavazos the first cabinet
