His tactics for control, his determination, and how he could manipulate all went into account when expressing how influential and prominent of a leader Hitler really was. Hitler was a man that liked total control over a situation, and to have no one else besides himself to have an option of becoming omnipotent. To do that he came up with one of his plans to ensure that only he had superior authority.
Although the main causes of World War II were mostly economic, some of the causes were invasion of other countries. Hitler was a very strong speaker. He became the main leader of the National Socialist German workers Party or the Nazi Party which soon took over Germany. Before he actually even joined the Nazis he spied on them. In late 1905, after passing his final exam, Hitler’s mother allowed him to quit school and begin a career path. Hitler had to choose from a safe and stable job which would help him take care of his mother without any risks or to follow his dream of becoming an artist. Hitler’s mother supported Hitler’s every choice so Hitler decided to apply for the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna but was rejected twice, resulting him to being jobless (Kubizek 61-62).
In the book “The Power of Myth” by Joseph Campbell, there is much discussion on new mythology and a “demythologized” world. The idea that our culture needs a “new mythology” because we live in a “demythologized” world is inaccurate regarding our modern culture. We still have myths and rituals that we follow in our daily lives. There are many people that still respect the Earth the way the indigenous people did in the past, which shows there is a mythology that we follow today. We also still have rituals such as marriage, giving gifts to people that are experiencing a significant life event, standing for a judge, etc.
In the late 1920’s, the Nazi party had little success but in 1933, Hitler and the Nazis came to power. Hitler was the leader of a small right-wing party with very extremist ideas. Within a couple of years this party was in control of Germany. The factors that caused Hitler’s success for the rise of Nazism has been studied ever since. Hitler’s organisation skills and personal traits helped to bring the Naizs into power.
