I myself have to think sometimes about what other people might be going through, even though we have freedom over here, there are many wars happening and many people losing their lives. To me, a veteran is a hero in disguise that live among ordinary people and live ordinary lives. Veterans are people who make sure that when we die, we will die in peace on the very soil where they have walked. They dedicate themselves to defend a nation
There are a lot of important reasons why we should honor our veterans. One of the biggest reasons we should honor our veterans is because they risked their lives to protect ours. In some of the scariest, if not the scariest, situations in the world, thousands of soldiers bravely fought for our freedom. Even though they knew the risks, they still decided to go into the military. To this day, many veterans still face side effects of war.
I have a few people in my family that are veterans. Their service means alot to me. I admire them for their for their bravery and loyalty to their country. They inspire me in many ways such as to be brave even if the situation requires only a small act of bravery, and to speak out against something I know is wrong. To me veterans need to be honored every day for their service.
Just trying to make a living every day so we could survive. Homeless veterans fight for our country and they deserve our honor and respect. Us Americans should help our veterans get off the
Veterans are American heros because they fight for our country. They also fight for us, and they know they might not come back the same. They risk their lives for us and we should appreciate what they do for us. Second,we should honor them because they fight for our country and they try to protect us.
Veteran Benefits The issue of veteran benefits in the United States is not taken as seriously as it should be in our country, even though it is a growing problem that needs to be addressed. The lack of available funding for veterans is especially obvious when compared to that available for lower income citizens, or even illegal immigrants. Also, what does exist appears to fall short in taking care of veteran’s needs. Considering that these veterans are people who have risked their lives fighting for this country, the fact that they are not receiving immediate benefits or even what they have earned is unfair.
Homeless veterans need more help After all the things that homeless veterans have done for this country, they need more help. Many times, veterans will be seriously injured while in service. Whether it’s a physical or mental injury, they are serious.
Homeless veterans and how they live on the streets and how they got homeless. Also how our government is trying to get rid of so many homeless Veterans. Society needs to invest in homeless veterans problem. Homelessness “Is not having a place to live.”
The US has grappled with many questions about society’s obligations as to whether or not to offer services and benefits to the men and women in the armed forces. Supporters argue that helping veterans will help the society as whole and opponents argue that we shouldn’t be increasing our federal government spending in repaying veterans. Although I do see where people can argue that we are spending too much money on helping veterans after war, I believe that the government owes them for what they have done for the country, despite the cost. The government owes certain benefits to veterans because the men and women in the armed forces deserve to be welcomed home with a generous system of services for what they have done for the country. Helping veterans goes way back all the way to the 1600s.
Introduction The exercise to establish the number of homeless people in the United States is of critical significance. Homelessness poses immense challenges to efforts aimed at controlling infectious diseases and renders the homeless at immense risk of serious mental and physical health effects. This subject is particularly becomes sensitive on considering the significant number of homeless veterans in the US. Especially in the recent past, homelessness has emerged as a costly problem.
Veterans need access to any facilities should the need arise and shouldn’t be stricken to the V.A
Luckily there are also programs/services that veterans can apply to if they’ve been exposed to radiation or if they have cancer from the war; if they are accepted they can get money back. Yes that does help but what if they can’t apply or they do and they’re not accepted, well then they’re casted out and receive no money or pre-paid medical treatment. All of this to say yes, it’s a great idea to have programs for veterans but we shouldn’t need to because the government should already give them money or pre-paid medical treatment, we shouldn’t need a program to do that. Besides affecting the U.S veterans it also affected The U. S’S image how?
In my opinion, veterans do receive the care they need, but are not provided equal amount of care. Hopefully, with Donald Trump supporting the veterans, during his presidency he will be capable of providing the veterans more support and equality to benefit the veterans needs as well as their
In the United States thousands of veterans are not able to leave behind the horrors and traumatic events they experience while at war. They bring the war home and have to re-experience it in their minds each and every day, no matter how much time has passed since their last battle or traumatic
