Today, there is a crisis among Syrian Refugees. In February of 2015 there was an estimated 3.8 million Syrian Refugees trying to flee. About 50.4% are male, and 49.6% are female. The Syrian refugee crisis began with what is presumed to be a civil war. The civil war began when pro-democracy protests occurred in March of 2011. The protests demanded President Assad's resignation, but the president refused. But the violence escalated, and soon protest would turn into a civil war between rebel groups and the government, over who would get control of cities. It is found that the during the war, both parties have been found to be doing many war crimes. Citizens of Syria and surrounding countries are fleeing the mayhem. But since the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria has a big influence and strong authority over these people, Syrian Refugees can be considered dangerous to our nation. Syrian refugees shouldn’t be let in, because it puts our national security at risk, Homeland Security did state that there is no way to do proper background checks on all refugees, and The U.S has a plenty amount of problems that we need to deal with before opening our doors to refugees that aren’t even American Citizens. Our nation has about 47,000 homeless veterans sleeping on the streets. These people risked their life to gain our country freedom and help other countries< and were going to let refugees that aren’t american citizens a place to live over American’s that risked their lives for this nation. Besides homeless veterans america has 46.7 million people living in poverty. And as of April 2016 7.9 million americans are unemployed. So before we give syrian refugees a place to live, jobs, and food. We need to think about our people. Our people that are
