As a whole, the world need to support the refugees. I think help should be available to those who need it, and it does not matter what part of the world one is from because after all we are all human and deserve basic human aids such as safety, shelter, food, water, and clothes. The Syrians’ world came crashing down in 2011 when a civil war broke out in Syria, since then, 220,000 civilians have died. As a result, More than 11 million Syrians have moved from place to place looking for safety. I believe if every fortunate country cooperate, there will be enough resources to help the refugees. Other country is the last hope these people have, so no one should be watching this crisis and not make an effort to help to the people of Syria. Also, it will take a very long time to rebuild Syria. In the meantime, the Syrians in Europe and/or in neighboring country should be living more comfortably. In certain camps the refugees feel like they are in captivity because they do not live in a welcoming environment. I think it is right to make these people feel welcome because they already going through a tough time and they lost everything they had back home in Syria. UN bodies working with millions of refugees in Lebanon, Turkey, and Jordan are running out of money, making camp condition harsher than in the past(Kingsley, Rice-Oxley, and Nardelli). The reason life in the camp is getting harsher is that UN does not have enough money to support all the refugees. I expected wealthy countries to take a more responsible role in funding for the refugees. Many of the wealthy countries’ donation wasn’t enough for the refugees.
