There is a crossroad that we face and it one that could potentially define us for the rest of our existence. This particular situation to some people seems unimportant as if they don’t matter; just seen as another situation that we placed ourselves in by trying to resolve every global conflict, and now we must reap what we sowed. There is an idea that seems to be very well contested accepting 10,000 Syrian Refugees into the united states because it is the right thing to do, but is it really grated these individuals have been vetted by the state department; and the vast majority of the individuals have been left homeless because their homes have been destroyed by the civil war that is currently raging in Syria. Americans, myself and our government should be against 10,000 Syrian refugees because there are not enough resources to go around, they pose a potential risk to security, and we have thousands of veteran’s in the streets who should come before them; it insulting what has come to fruition. …show more content…
Are we truly this blind to what we see every day there is thousands of veteran’s out in the streets? therefore we continue to ignore them in every way possible these individuals gave everything for their country and we are willing to let them die in the streets, but these refugees are going to come here and will have a home adequate medical care a possibility for employment and other opportunities to better their lives yet my veteran’s die in the street. Shouldn’t we be taking care of our own anyways why don’t We resolve that issue and if we have enough to go around we will consider the Syrian people. The American people owe it to them to put them before the people of Syria because they put us before themselves when they made the ultimate sacrifice to go and fight for the right for us to feel
