Simply put, homosexuality is defined as sexual relations between like genders (i.e., two males or two females). Many people now believe that homosexuality is part of who a person really is from the moment of conception. There are two main stances that have been taken in this debate. The first, held by most conservative churches, states that homosexuality is wrong. The second belief is that there is nothing wrong with this life-style. While I believe the first stance is the right and the stance that the bible leads us to take, I am not willing to take it as far as a large group of Christians do today. Numerous Christians are willing to say that homosexuality is the worst sin, far greater than any other. Although most Christians will not use these specific words, they display it with their actions; overlooking their own private sins. They instead pick one that they do not struggle with and do not understand. I fully believe that homosexuals are born the way they are. They are born into sin, just as the rest of us are born liars, cheats, and thieves. The only way that they can break free from their sin is through the power of Jesus Christ.
