Traits in the domain of Honesty-Humility describe sincerity, fairness, greed-avoidance and modesty (by Lee & Ashton, 2004, 2005). Low scorers are sly and manipulate people to get what they want, are pretentious in a sense of high self-importance and are greedy as they want to achieve material gain. High scorers are sincere and especially avoid manipulating others for self-interest, are fair and modest as they do not reach for wealth or a high social status.
