The shadows of the night cast upon the hills of Screamersville Virginia, where mansions circled the hill. The hill was the most exclusive place in the town, only the richest of rich could reside there. And lucky for Hope she was one of them.
Hope peered out of her window to see a sight that was unthinkable. She saw three cars parked on the estate next door. No one had lived in the mansion for years.This was due to killing that occurred a decade past. Poor Mrs.Graves was sitting on her porch, and all of a sudden she was gone. She had a triple chocolate cake that her mother ordered from the bakery down in the city. As her mother always said, “Chocolate is always the answer”. She walked up to their driveway for what seemed like an eternity. After all, their driveway was the longest in the hill. Hope finally got to their porch with goosebumps all over her body. She raced to the door, grabbed the handle, and did not open the door. All of a sudden all the doors came to a stubborn shut. Hope tried to open it again, but she had no luck. Raven grabbed Hope’s collar, attempting to reel her in. Hope only had one thought in her mind, run. Hope ran to the white marble stairs. Her heart was beating at 1000 miles per hours, and she feared what was to happen next. Out of the blue, Raven’s mother appeared chasing her. Then her father, then her sister, and finally her brother. Hope was hyperventilating at this point, she was running faster than a cheetah. Sweat dripped down her ivory skin, that soon turned bright red. Out of the corner of her eye, Hope saw a red crystal. A sudden idea struck her mind. Hope picked up the crystal, leaned back, and threw as hard as she could at the stained glass windows. Glass of all colors flew across the room like birds. Glass ripped Raven’s delicate skin, but this only made her more determined to get Hope. Hope dove from the window, out of Raven’s grasp. She shrieked in pain, but she knew she could still make it.
