Based on the findings stated above, it is clear that because children view advertisements at such a young age, they are greatly influenced. The way that advertisers manipulate children affects how they buy products and how they feel about those products. Not only do they buy into consumer culture, they also buy based on their emotions. As they get older, a child will find validation through their obsession with materialism and continue to consume in order to feel justified.
