Catholicism and Protestantism are very different but at the same time they can be very alike. They are two two religions that share traditions but also have their own differences and that’s what makes them very good. They are different, for example, Catholics believe God is the only one that can forgive sins, salvation was the only thing attained through faith, and there was no use for pictures or statues. On the other hand, Protestants believe the Pope can forgive sins as well as God, Salvation can be attained through faith and good works, and there was use for pictures and statues. Although they have there differences they also have their similarities. For example they both believed in the same God, communion and baptism were very important
