Alfred Wegner spends many, many years looking for clues from long ago to support his theory of drifting continents and gathered evidence to assure that he was not crazy but it was simply the truth and the only explanation of the evidence found in the different continents.
One example of fossil evidence is Cynogothisis; The Cynogothisis was found in South America and Africa. The Cynogothisis was a land reptile, so it is improbable that the Cynogothisis was able to swim across the ocean that was between South America and Africa. Another example of fossil evidence is Lystrosauras; The Lystrosauras is a land reptile that generated from India, Africa and Antarctica. The Messasauras is also an example of fossil evidence but the Messasauras is

The mountain ranges that were studied are the Appellation’s mountain, From Europe to Graceland.
One example of climate evidence is glaciers, glaciers are thick ice caps Wegner found evidence of glaciers in Africa, Australia and South America. Another Part of evidence Wegner found is coal, coal is a type of rock created from the change of climates compaction and decomposition found in Antarctica. Wegner studied all sorts of different types of climate evidence and went to every depth to do so.
Some examples of sea floor spreading are sonar trenches; sonar trenches are mountain ridges are a geological feature consisting of a chain of mountains or hills that form a continuous elevated crest for some distance. Another example of sea floor spreading is magnetic field patterns; magnetic field patterns are reversal patterns away from ridges. Studying these Wegner was able to find evidence to support his theory. Although all of his evidence wasn’t very helpful while he was alive, and a lot of people believed that he had gone mad after his death all of the evidence that he had collected over the years was proven that at one time the continents had been connected, and Wegner will be forever known for his
