Regardless of what many people think, America did have a positive impact on itself if you look at the different ways they have contributed in many events. America was going through a time where they helped other countries and in return, also benefited their own country. The actions of the United States were positive at the turn of the century because America gained many territories, won the Spanish-American War, and contributed a lot in Word War I. All of these has helped America grow and expand.
