Christopher Reeve was an amazing person with an incredible life. He was the first superman and an amazing athlete. Then his whole life changed when he hit the ground in a horse racing competition. He was now a quadloplorecic and it was his mission for him to walk again. Now his family will have to take care of him twenty four seven. Christopher Reeve overcame all the odds and when no one expected him to recover from being a quadriplegic, and how he also went on to inspire others to live.

Even when he was really busy acting, directing, and writing he still made time to exercise. Chris always smiled and laughed whatever he was going through, He knew that one way to get better and be cured is not to think about what bad things are happening but to think of the good things that are happening. Chris’s attitude towards medical research was that if we lower the cost of surgeries and medicine we will reduce human suffering and save more people ( Reeve 94).There was little recovery of Chris’s illness but he still had to work really hard to move his head. He would use all of his strength and effort just to move his head from side to side ( Reeve 111).
