The Scientific Revolution along with The Enlightenment took place over a spread of several decades. Both marked with significant advancements by famous scientists and philosophers from around the globe. The universe that surrounds us today without a doubt would be a radically different universe without the contributions made by this men. All these great men devoted their time and life exclusively to experimentation, research, also publishing their findings and philosophy. Perhaps some of the most well-known scientists and philosophers of this time include Galileo, Isaac, and Thomas Hobbes. We will discuss further some of their contributions during the Scientific Revolution and how the Enlightenment shaped the worldview of civilization. Galileo Galilei was one of the many contributors who played an important role in the Scientific Revolution. He improved upon the telescope. Thomas Hobbes is one of the several leading figures in philosophy mainly in the field of politics. Also, contributing immensely to other fields such as history, geometry, theology, and ethics. Thomas Hobbes is famously known for the well-known Leviathan. A composition that examines further into human nature. He theorizes that as humans we are naturally self-driven and evil.
