The Great American Dream People say that everyone can obtain their American Dream if they try and work hard enough- this isn’t always the case. In F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, a man named Jay Gatsby wanted to achieve his American Dream, love. He believed it was attainable, and he was going to accomplish his dream, no matter what.
