Modernism emerged in Europe and in the United State in 1890 and after the World War I in 1920 reaches its highest level. Modern life comes with civilization and it was so different from traditional life –everything was more faster and easier than before- and it effect all aspect of life including literature. Modernism in art and literature easily reject realism and all their beliefs. As an example Gertrude Stein established a new method in her poetry by changing the structures and grammar in her works of art. She achieved a new ‘Abstract’ meanings.
