To make the world a better place, it is important to recycle and spread awareness about segregation. Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist Minister and a social activist who played a key role in the American Civil Rights Movement from the mid-1950s until his assassination in 1968. The Civil Rights leader by his father,was born Michael King Jr. on January 25, 1929. However, his name was to be changed, in lieu of Martin Luther,a German professor. King was such a gifted student that he enrolled at college at 15 years old in 1944 at Morehouse College, the Alma mater of his father and maternal grandfather. After earning a divinity degree from Pennsylvania’s Crozer theological seminary, King attended graduate school at Boston University, where he received his Ph.D. in systematic theology in 1955. Six years before his iconic speech at the March on Washington, King was among the civil rights leaders who spoke to spread awareness and stop racism.
