Have you ever wondered where the delicious Hershey's milk chocolate came from and how it began? Milton Hershey had many trials when he was building his successful business Milton failed many times but through it all he came out with a business that would change the United States forever.

Milton Hershey was very passionate about not giving up on anything he started. He learned this from his father at a very young age. Hershey failed many times, his first failure was when he opened his candy store. Though the store was open for 6 years it had to close due to scarcity of business. His next big failure was when he decided to move his business to New York. His candy store lasted only a couple of months, not even a year. He borrowed a lot of money from his mother, aunt, and bank just to try to make his business successful. His first big success was when he made caramel with fresh milk. He soon realized that it made a huge difference. He got a very big order for his carmels from a very wealthy man. That was the start to Milton’s success. He soon realized that carmels were not his calling, then a brilliant idea came across Milton. He decided that only certain people got the enjoyable taste of creamy milk chocolate and he wanted to change that. Next he purchased several chocolate machines at a convention. It took Milton many years to accomplish the secret Chocolate recipe. Milton wanted many people, not just rich people to enjoy the taste of chocolate, he made the prices affordable so people of all income’s could enjoy the creamy chocolate. Milton Hershey could not think of a name for the great delicious chocolate then it dawned on him Hershey's chocolate and that's where his success
