In the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury the novel could not have been written the same way if Guy Montag did not meet Clarisse McClellan because meeting her changed Montag's life and the way he sees things. While Guy Montag was walking home he ran into Clarisse McClellan who is Montag's new neighbor. She was always talking to him about weird ideas. She asked him if he liked being fireman and if firemen always made fires and instead of putting them out. Clarisse would always talk to Montag on his way home.
