Some of those inventions include paper, gunpowder, and silk. The use of paper and gunpowder are more widely popular in the modern society today, while silk is not as widely used, but is still an important invention that has still heavily influenced our modern day society.
Paper is probably one of the most used inventions that was created by the Ancient Chinese. It was one of the greatest inventions of ancient China. Paper was invented during the Han Dynasty between 206 BC - 220 AD, and since it was such a great invention, it made its way to the Silk Road through all the trade. Traditionally, paper was made by an chinese imperial official named Cai Lun. He made the sheet of paper using mulberry, fishnets, old rags, hemp waste, and other bast fibres.
