The Russian Revolution is now officially over and it’s time for Russia to start its new economy. In the old economy Vladimir Putin controlled many things which made the people turn against him. Putin pulled Russia out of the war, but Lenin only concentrated on home issues. The forces that were against Lenin never worked together united as a group. Each individual seemed to be fighting or something different. Everyone had their own reasons for going to war and it usually had nothing to do with Lenin. Lenin had introduced war communism. This meant that the government had full control over factories. Workers who had originally run the factories had no control anymore. Managers ended up running factories and made everything as strict as possible. …show more content…

There is more innovation causing firms to look for new products to sell and to find easier ways to produce products. Another good thing would be that foreign investment is more attracted when word gets out about new opportunities for earning profit. Production in this type of economy causes rapid production and people acquire social skills and knowledge needed for this type of economy more quickly. There are so many good things about having a market economy that would greatly help our country. With this type of economy there would be a great variety of consumer goods available for people who have the money for them and the people of the country would always have something to do to try to earn money and make people happy with new products. A country would not want to have a command economy because Government agencies usually have poor information about what to produce. Usually this results in goods that aren't even used which make it a loss of time and money. If the government is in control of the economy than there would be no consumer preferences and the government may not know what people want or need. A command economy leads to a very strict government which limits people the ability to pursue economic objectives.
