The effect that both Martin Luther King Jr and Robert F Kennedy had on the public, the civil rights movement, and the world will forever change the ideas of equal rights for everyone. Martin Luther King and Robert F Kennedy both had very strong opinions regarding civil rights and the movement. Martin Luther King took an anti-violence approach to the injustice and segregation in America. He believed that "peace and economic justice were critical to his fight for human rights." He also believed in the importance of now, and not waiting for the rights they deserved. MLK's followers also held his same idea of justice to be true. Many of them attended peaceful protests, took part in boycotts, and continued to stay non-violent even after vicious attacks from racists and bigots.
