One of, if not the most important factor in the downfall of Romeo and Juliet was the extremely limited time that Romeo and Juliet gave themselves. Time played a crucial part in this entire story because it acted as an entire character that was always against the protagonists and caused their downfall. They didn’t plan anything out with each other they decided they wanted to spend the rest of their life with this random person they met at a party. If Romeo and Juliet had slowed down for a second, planned things out, talked with each other, and got to know the other person, then the relationship could have worked.
