Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was born in the year 1913 on the date of February 4. Rosa was the the very first African American lady of the civil rights that the United States called her ; however she was a civil rights activist. Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was known as the mother of freedom movement. In honor of her on her birthday February fourth and the day she got arrested on December first was called the Rosa Parks Day in California and Ohio. In the year of 1955 Rosa Louise McCauley Parks got arrested on December first because she refused to listen to the bus driver. The bus driver named James F. Blake demanded Rosa Louise McCauley Parks to give up her seat to a white person because she was sitting in the colored section even though the white section was all filled up. Rosa Louise McCauley Parks collaborated with the Civil Rights Movement and also organized it. This included the president of the NAACP Edgar Nixon and the one only only African American speaker who gained national prominence in the civil rights movement and that was Martin Luther King, Jr. At this time Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was a secretary in the NAACP. Rosa Louise McCauley Parks recently attended a school called Highlander Folk in Tennessee where she would have to train for the rights and racial equality. Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was to act as like she was trying to give in by being a private citizen; however Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was honored years later. Rosa Louise McCauley Parks worked as a seamstress, in a local store department where she got fired due to her actions of what she was doing.
