I chose Rosa Parks as one of the most important and valuable person in our history because she has helped so many African Americans to finally fight for equal rights, and the same freedom that all white Americans had. African Americans were always poorly treated and she knew how it felt because she was one, she fought in the Civil RIghts Movement for equality with Africans and White Americans. Rosa started her tribute in the Civil Rights Movement on December 1, 1955 when she refused to give up her bus seat to a white American.
