The holocaust was one of the worst genocides that has happened to one race in the last 100 years it lead to the deaths of 6 million to 17 million jews. There are not that many people still alive that got saved for it because of the exprempit they were put through the time they were in the camps dieing. One of many ways the nazis killed so many jews was gas chambers and pizza type ovens they had mounds of people from the gas chambers piled up in the millions. When they got saved they had to did massov graves and use a bulldozer to get all the bodys in to the grave. In the book Night by Elie Wiesel there are many instes of dehumanizing for example they had to be put in to the cattle cars.
Unfortunately, many people were not lucky during the time of the Holocaust. During the Holocaust, many people were killed. Many people were killed not by what they did but by who they were, how much money they had, how old they were, and what gender they were(Hitler's rise to power). The Holocaust was a time of sorrow for the Jews whose family members were
To this day, the topic of FDR’s decision on whether bombing the concentration camps baffles the mind of many historians, and political researchers/investigators. Criticizing all the Questions and opinions, bias authors are coming from left and right when no one knows the whole story. Frequent questions such as; why didn’t he bomb them? What did Franklin D. Roosevelt do or not do in response to the Holocaust? Such questions as these are commonly known as the “Jewish question”.
2. He was a nice guy out of the concentration camps. 2. He would watch millions of people die in gas chambers over the five years he was there, it would not mind him, watching people suffer or die, or watching their teeth turn into gold bars. 2.
The Holocaust was a horrific occurrence in World War II for many Jews. More than 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust. Jews were tortured, forced to go to extermination camp and do force labors. Not many Jews survived the Holocaust, but many did with the help of Sir Nicholas Winton. He saved 669 Jewish children from Czechoslovakia and deported them through eight trains.
The Holocaust was one of the most tragic events in history. It just so happened to be the cause of six million deaths. While there are countless beings who experienced such trauma, it is impossible to hear everyone's side of the story. However, one man, in particular, allowed himself to speak of the tragedies. Elie Wiesel addressed the transformation he underwent during the Holocaust in his memoir, Night.
The holocaust is a very sad time, but not every person was bad one lady believed to be a good person is Miep Gies. Miep Gies was a very loving and caring person she managed to take care of all of the people living in the secret annex. Miep took the risk of taking care of the lives of the people in the annex even though there was a chance she could lose hers. She is very thoughtful and giving Anne Frank’s diary was saved because of Miep.
During WWII many thought the idea of the holocaust was impossible and crazy. In the book “Night” by Elie Wiesel, Moshe the beadle was deported before the rest of the Sighet Jews. Moshe the beadle somehow escapes the concentration camp and returns to warn the Sighet community about the horrible things the Nazis were doing. The community thought he was insane and took him for a lunatic.
while him and his father were forced to work under horrible conditions. His father died from the beating of a German soldier. The Nazi and the Germans would separate all men by how they would see them and how they would work. They would kill the ones who could not do it anymore were too tired or were very sick. While for the baby's they would kill them.
In conclusion the holocaust was a tragedy for everyone involved. Families were torn apart, jewish had their rights stripped away, and they lost everything they cared about. Despite all the terrible things that jews faced I believe their is still humanity in this world. Humanity is described as being selfless and helping others and I truly believe we still have people that are like this.
Elie Wiesel once said, “I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation.” If you have ever read or even studied Elie Wiesel, you know that he isn't lying. Elie Wiesel was never silent about the suffering of Jews in concentration camps, he wrote many books, novels, and short stories about his experiences while he was in the concentration camps. His unfortunate childhood in the camps led to his notable and successful career as an author. No one can truly understand what it was like to experience the holocaust like Elie Wiesel.
Everyone who has learned about World War II should know about the Holocaust. The Holocaust was during the same period of World War II. “What is it called the Holocaust?” you may ask. The Holocaust originates from the Greek language and means “completely burnt offering to God.”
The Holocaust was one of the most devastating times for all of the world. It strained the world’s economy and resources; death tolls were tremendously high and injuries were severe. This was one of the worst events in our world’s history. For the 12 years that Germany was ruled by the Nazi Party, a central belief was that there existed in society, certain people who were dangerous and needed to be eliminated for German society to flourish and survive (Impact of the Holocaust).
There are many events in history but Holocaust left a permanent scar on the face of history. The event soaked in blood and tears of innocent would be unforgettable.
