A.Introduction:History of the United States has numerous remarkable ladies who have rolled out critical improvements in women’s life. Two of such ladies were Eleanor Roosevelt Margaret Sanger and they lived roughly in the meantime. They both contributed immensely to change the women’s lives, roles and position them equally with men. Eleanor Roosevelt was born in 1884 in New York. Despite the fact that she was born in a wealthy family, her adolescence was miserable.
Anthony has more greatly impacted our nation with her works than Frederick Douglass. Susan created so many organizations, movements, and speeches to help so many areas that needed reforming. She took action in order to help the nation, such as being involved in abolition and women’s rights, and made risky moves in order to reform these things. Although Douglass was impactful as well, I feel that he did not make as many actions towards helping as Anthony did. He gave great speeches, and motivated many people to become involved, but so did Susan, as well as taking a lot of action

She started claiming the rights of both sexes and she established with her friend Stanton the American Equal Rights Association. In 1863 both Susan Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton established the Women's Loyal National League to demand some constitution amendments in the United States. It was the first American Women’s organization for anti-slavery movement as it was the only political tool for women at that time.

Jane Addams, born in Cedarville, IL in 1860, was a very independent woman who was looked up to by many people and seen as the most prominent woman of her time. She shared the common culture of Social Christianity although, she was not trying to do her efforts for religious practice. Growing up without a father, because he killed himself, and a having a husband who was an abusive alcoholic taught her a way to be humble. She was not like others who were racist and looked down on the poor she saw an equal in everyone and just wanted to help. In a time period of poverty and discrimination, with the help of Jane Addams, the Hull House was an escape route for immigrants, and an uprising for Social Christianity.
Anthony was inspired to protect the rights of women partially due to her own experience. As a child, Anthony was limited from attending many schools, and was one of the few women to even receive an education. Anthony and Stanton worked together creating both petitions and literary works. They also created a group called National American Woman Suffrage Association with Anthony in charge. This group participated in marches, petitions, and strikes for women equality.
