During the Civil Rights Movement, there were many groups that were created to stop or discontinue unfair treatment of African Americans. Many African American try or made a effect to the movement for the civil war. One of these clubs was the Black Panthers and they impack in the civil war because the history of the black panther, why the group was made, and the belief of the black panthers.
First and foremost, the history of the Black Panthers is one of self-defence in the face of racial injustice. The Black Panthers played a short part of the Civil War, but that short part had a important impact by fighting for equal rights. The group has a history that many other civil rights groups don’t have. The Black Panther was founded in “California in 1966 by Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale” (C.N trueman). The Black Panthers believed that violence was the answer to get what they wanted, and that was rights for African Americans. The Black Panthers was created for many reason, but the main reason for the group was equality. The Black Panthers main purpose was to help gain rights to African Americans all around the United States. They wanted the same treatment that white people was getting; they wanted it to be equal. The group was made by African people that were tired of being mistreated by the whites. The main reason the Black Panthers became a thing is because many African Americans wanted thought the way they was being treat and how they would get beat or arrest for doing nothing they thought it was
