Many words in the English Language came from the Romans. The english language also came from Latin and scientists, doctors, and lawyers still use Latin phrases because Rome was very huge on law. Ancient Roman architecture still inspire many architects today. The Early Romans borrowed architectural ideas from the Greeks. The Latins were inspired by the Greeks to make an alphabet too. They are the same letters we use today except only a handful of letters, such as U and J, have been added. For other languages, the impact was even greater than for us.
