Over a thousand years ago in the Mesoamerica region the culture that we know as Maya thrived. They had an amazement and intrigued fascination over the technical mastery of their intellectual studies. The Mayan’s history is rich with remarkable human achievements, as well as stories. Some of their most recognizable masterpieces are the Mayan trade network, building Cities, the Mayan number system, and the Mayan calendar.
The Mayan, Aztecs, and Inca where and still is influential in the past and the present. The Mayan Civilization was influential because the it was never unified. The Mayan Civilization existed for more then 3500 years. According to the text "they traded goods with each other, including salt, shells, cotton, corn, rubber, incense, feathers, and etc".
Montezuma brought the Aztec civilization to it’s prime state, having extended as far south as current-day Nicaragua, as well as tried to bring a bureaucracy to the ancient tribe. Mayans on the other hand didn’t focus on conquering. They built temples for worship or pyramids for the deceased leaders, one of the most famous being Pakal the Great. And the last emperor of the Incan tribe, Atahualpa’s death from Fransisco Pizzaro was the end of the Incan tribe, whos land then went to the Spanish. Ancient Aztecs, after being driven out of any place they tried to settle, had one legend.
The Maya civilization and the Aztec and Inca empires have similarities and differences in their own ways. The early civilizations and empires of Mesoamerica are the same in many ways with their use of technology and ways of life. The Maya, the Aztec, and the Inca all figured out the calendar. According to the four sources provided the authors discuss how the Pueblo tribe had influenced the Inca tribe as they had lived two centuries prior. The Pueblos were amazing craftsman as they would create many amazing things using their skills to live for a long time. The incas also were were amazing craftsman as they would have been influenced by the Pueblos to create many things in order to live on. Overall the Inca society had been influenced by the Pueblos as they were very talented and skilled as so where the Incas.
