Greetings, my guest! Welcome to Glorious Museum of Mesoamerican Civilizations! It is such a pleasure to have you visit us today. Would you like me to show you around? Here, we have three rooms, each concentrating on a different civilization of Mesoamerica. In the room on the left, we have the Magnificent Mayans; in the room on the right, we have the Incredible Incas, and in the back, we have the Astonishing Aztecs. Each civilization had its own unique culture, but some aspects may seem similar. For example, both the Mayans and the Aztecs had a sun calendar. I hope you enjoyed the viewing the artifacts and learning about the three Mesoamerican civilizations. What was the most prodigious piece of information you learned today? The Mayans had a greatly advanced culture, had a huge food supply, and therefore had many other specialities -- such as advancing forward in the science and astronomy fields. Although we do not know what actually caused the downfall of Maya yet, most evidence leads to the fact that they had a huge overpopulation, and probably drained out the jungle and their food supply. The Aztecs were quite cruel. They practiced human sacrifice to their gods, but they also had an organized government. And, oh, of course -- their capital city! Tenochtitlán! It was a glorious place to live, with their rich and busy markets. What saddened me was the fact that Spanish conqueror Hernan Cortes conquered Tenochtitlán in the end, and brought the Fall of the Aztec Empire. And last but not least, the Incan Empire -- spanning nearly the entire Andes Mountains. They communicating system was pretty unique -- messengers at stations that would run miles to deliver a message both orally and using a string code, called a quipu, to the next messenger. However, Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro brought the Fall of Inca. All three civilizations had a rich culture and significant legacy. I hope you enjoyed visiting our museum today, and I hope you come visit again
