The years 1750-1900 are better known as the Revolution Era. During this time period, there were several revolutions that occurred throughout the developing world. Two of the main revolutions were the French Revolution and the Latin American Revolution. Both revolutions followed the anatomy of a revolution and had comparable causes, however the French Revolution politically better outcomes, whereas the Latin American Revolution resulted in poverty and lost territory.

Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, and Romania would all overthrow their communist regimes after their exposure to capitalism, Western popular culture, and less control by the Soviet Union. In November 1989, the Berlin Wall was torn down. And in 1990, more countries like, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, would proclaim their independence as well. The USSR no longer existed as the collapsed into a number of independent states. There were also other pro-democracy rallies in places like China in Beijing's Tiananmen Square.

Vision and Motivation Velvet Revolution demonstrationBy the second half of the 1980s, the political atmosphere in the Soviet Union and its satellite states was more relaxed than it had been in previous decades, due to Mikhail Gorbachev's introduction of two new governmental policies: Glasnost, a government effort to make the country's governance transparent and open to debate, and Perestroika, the restructuring of the Soviet political and economic system. Many historians cite the introduction of these two policies as a catalyst for many of the nonviolent democratic revolutions that erupted in Soviet-bloc countries.[1] Czechoslovakia's Communist Party took efforts to prevent Gorbachev's reforms from being enacted at home, where an autocratic
The two themes that we found throughout all three revolutions were political grievances and social injustice. Political grievances basically means that the leaders of the people prior to the revolution were unsatisfactory. For example, King Louis XIV was the leader of France before the French Revolution. Under his rule, his people experienced shortages in bread and an unfair taxing system. They deemed the king unsatisfactory because of the way they were being treated, they got rid of the king, taking his power and later having him guillotined.

Many saw Gorbachev’s way of ruling and enthusiasm as a threat for the Soviet Union, because they thought that it had lost its traditional discipline, organization, and ideology that provided a shell to the Soviet political order. Many would say that the Gorbachev’s reconstruction of the Soviet political and economic system did cost USSR of dissolution and did cause a fall of communism in Europe, but on the other side, there were many other causes that influenced on that before Gorbachev’s coming on power.
Choosing a career path can be challenging for some individuals, but this is not always the case for others. As for me, it has always been clear the career field of my choice since I was very young. These events initiated the democratization agenda, involving state rebuilding processes, aiming at restoring not only the boundaries between politics and economics, but also the boundaries separating public from private, the state from civil society, and the regime from the state.
