How Did William Shakespeare Influence The Globe Theater

William Shakespeare influenced The Globe Theater greatly, and the majority of the plays performed there were his. He was a very important member of the Lord Chamberlain’s Men, who owned the theater. A largely known nickname for The Globe is “Shakespeare’s Theater”. He wrote 37 plays and 154 sonnets, all of his works are very famous. He does have a positive bias toward the theater, as aforementioned. He had many reasons for writing this play, but the largest factor was to dramatize corrupt rulers and justify the origins of the Tudor Dynasty. Shakespeare wrote this quote from Henry V in 1599 encouraging the audience to use their imaginations in this theater, and in the process gave modern historians more of a hint of what The Globe was like.
