Let’s take a look in the past, Disney is known for their ‘happily ever after’ storylines where a princess is the main character, has a sidekick of some sort, unrealistic creatures come in to help, and an evil lady trying to destroy her life. These kind of films tell a tale about the princess’s life. Other films has a storyline of an animal or insect saving their clan from the bad guys, such as The Lion King and Bugs life. Recently, Walt Disney Animation Studios has changed the way they tell their storylines as well as bringing more diverse main characters in their films. They just came out with a film that has the main character as a Native American in The Princess and the Frog. In this kid’s film, they changed the characters life to be a normal young girl who is a waitress from New Orleans. This make the film more relatable to different races. They completely changed their original films to be in a more modern daily life with relatable storylines and lessons that be used in real life. For example, to be cautious when meeting new people because they can turn out to be not who they say they are like Prince Hans from Frozen. As we all can assume it’s better to add more multi-cultural worlds and diverse characters in the Disney films to attract different groups of watchers as well as to show other lifestyles people live
