In the area of global revision, the parts of my review that would need to be looked at include the topic, angle, purpose, and the thesis. Making sure I am looking at these elements with the reader in mind such as their needs, values and attitudes while writing my review. When looking at my topic, I first talked about how diverse at Walt Disney Animation Studio’s has evolved over the years. Then I transitioned into how great Moana, a Hawaiian film, is one of the best diverse kid’s films they produced. I would like to bring my readers back to the same point I made in my introduction as well in my conclusion sentence. Let’s take a look in the past, Disney is known for their ‘happily ever after’ storylines where a princess is the main character, has a sidekick of some sort, unrealistic creatures come in to help, and an evil lady trying to destroy her life. These kind of films tell a tale about the princess’s life. Other films has a storyline of an animal or insect saving their clan from the bad guys, such as The Lion King and Bugs life. Recently, Walt Disney Animation Studios has changed the way they tell their storylines as well as bringing more diverse main characters in their films. They just came out with a film that has the main character as a Native American in The Princess and the Frog. In this kid’s film, they changed the characters life to be a normal young girl who is a waitress from New Orleans. This make the film more relatable to different races. They completely changed their original films to be in a more modern daily life with relatable storylines and lessons that be used in real life. For example, to be cautious when meeting new people because they can turn out to be not who they say they are like Prince Hans from Frozen. As we all can assume it’s better to add more multi-cultural worlds and diverse characters in the Disney films to attract different groups of watchers as well as to show other lifestyles people live
